I see problems with the flash. If we use minimum tombstone then there will not be a high place to store the flash. It has to go off at the correct time whereas the yellow/white light could go off a little sooner or later and still have its effect. Performer has to allow time to set off the flash and it has to work because if it doesn't then the audience would be wondering what she was doing. (This has happened to me in the Nursery Rhyme Jack performance) Even if the flash was on the floor or an object the performer would have to bend down to get it or the object would have to be more neutral than I could make it.
I don't see where the dirt is necessary. The performer could stick leaves with Vaseline or other material and the effect would actually be better. She should leave some on her until the ritual washing at the end. The leaves only would make clean up much easier. For transportation purposes a large black sheet would probably be better than a large plastic sheet, for one reason is that it is black and the other is that it transports easier.
The illustrations on the back wall should be about 3 feet by three feet or 3 feet by four to make them easier to put up and take down. The original concept was 3X5 but the smaller ones would work better. We have to consider the 3 to 4 minute time limit even though it isn't required for set up time it should be very efficient because the host obviously thinks of short spans of time.
